CINEMA SPECTACLES OF WONDER Until 5 October | Free Presented in conjunction with the ‘Wonderstruck’ exhibition at GOMA, the film program ‘Spectacles of Wonder’ presents an unmissable selection of films that invite audiences into captivating worlds filled with reverie and splendour. The program showcases much-loved stories, including a 4K restoration of Giuseppe Tornatore’s Cinema Paradiso 1988, alongside experimental and avant-garde films such as Us and the Night 2024 by Australian director Audrey Lam. Lam will be speaking about her film alongside leading cast member Xiao Deng as part of a live In Conversation event on Saturday 4 October. LIKE A PHOTON: ANIMATING THE NEIGHBOURHOOD Until 27 September | Free Celebrate the filmmaking of local animation studio Like a Photon Creative, who are taking Australian stories to the global stage.
